WEST POINT Miss JoAnna Elizabeth Barbour departed this life Dec. 4, 2005, just three days short of her sixteenth birthday. She was born Dec. 7, 1989, to James and Jacqueline Barbour of West http://www.faire-part-de-bapteme.fr Point. JoAnna attended West Point schools from kindergarten on she was currently in the eleventh grade at West Point High School where she was an excellent http://www.immopolisparis.fr student and recently was inducted to the National Honor Society. She was able to earn this distinction in spite of the fact that she was unable to attend classes for the past two years due to a life threatening infection. Most recently, she had made her acting debut in a one act play presented by Reflections Repertory Company and had participated backstage at Cat Theater where her father also performs. JoAnna was much loved by her grandparents, Mrs. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Barbour of West Point. Other local family members are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Racioppi, Gigi and Blair, Mr. and Mrs. James Peay and Scott, and Mrs. Marty Mamunes of Saluda and Martie Kelly http://www.mgsecretariat.fr of Gloucester. Cousins Casey and Lisa Kelly were especially close to 'Jo' as were specials friends, Trevor, Riley and Dillion McEuen, Lisa Bunch, Rachel Bohannon and Drummond Dawson, and numerous friends and loving, extended family. Friday at West Point Christian Church, 290 W. Euclid Blvd. Burial in Sunny Slope Cemetery. Thursday at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Jessie's Wish at 13101 Glenmeadow Court, Midlothian, VA 23114 3014, which is an organization that assist families of children with eating disorders.
